KIDS LEARN THE FUNDAMENTALS
The goal of the Junior Boilermaker Golf Programs is to ensure that kids enjoy learning the fundamentals of the game by focusing on providing a fun learning environment. Many programs are scheduled in 2025 to give juniors the opportunity to experience the game of golf. Junior Boilermaker Golf Programs are open to any and all participants. Birck Boilermaker First Tee Program
FIRST TEE – INDIANA IN GREATER LAFAYETTE
The First Tee – Indiana has expanded its reach into the Tippecanoe County area. The Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex will continue to teach the First Tee curriculum. All sessions are lead by Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex Head PGA Professional Dan Ross. Each week will cover various topics included in the prescribed curriculum.
Spring classes will begin in April. Summer sessions dates and times will run throughout June and July with more on-course opportunities. We will wrap up the season with our fall series of special sessions, including a parent-child scramble event.

PGA Jr. LEAGUE GOLF
The PGA Junior League Golf (PGA JLG) is designed to better socialize the game for girls and boys, ages 6 to 13 (cannot turn 14 before August 1, 2025). PGA JLG features team vs. team match play competitions versus other JLG teams. A 2-person scramble format is used to create a less stressful environment for players of all abilities. This is a great way to get kids involved in the game and parents are encouraged to participate! Teams will be comprised of 8-12 players and registration this year will allow for 40-48 total golfers. The BBGC has typically had two 12 player teams but this year, we are looking to improve our league by have a Four Team In House League. The kids will be playing against other kids from within the same site. This will give us the most freedom to schedule matches and also be most effective with our practice dates. We have decided to do practices and House League matches on Wednesday evenings at 5:15pm. Deadline to sign up is April 30, 2025.
PGA JLG Players Receive: Two Team Jerseys, Golf Balls, PGA JLG Bag Tags, Instruction from PGA Professionals, & Opportunity for All-Star Advancement. Cost of the PGA Junior League is $350 per junior player. $100 goes to the PGA Jr. League and $250 will go to the instructors coaching/teaching the teams as well as a portion to the facility. We will have 4 coaches this season.

Practices will start on Wednesday, May 21st – from 6:00 – 7:15. An official schedule will be given out on the night of the first practice. Matches will be held on Wednesday evenings.
There will be approximately 6 matches played, with each team playing each other twice, using both Ackerman-Allen and Kampen-Cosler Courses.
