Birck Boilermaker Golf Leagues

Team League

The Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex is excited to continue the Team League for 2026. The League promises to provide fun, competition, and excitement and is open to all!

The Team League will have up to 32 two to five-man teams that will be split into two, 16 team divisions. On a weekly basis two players from one team will play against two players from another team in their division in the Team League in a 2-Man Best Ball match play format. Each team will have a season-long points total with the top 12 teams making the season ending playoffs. Each team will play every other team in their division once. Matches are scheduled to be held over 9 holes, with the holes played rotating through the season. The League will start at 5:30PM every Tuesday.

The 2026 Team League is scheduled to start on Tuesday, May 5th, and will play every Tuesday concluding with the Championship Match in late September.

League entry fee is $450 per team which will ALL be paid back to Team League participants in the form of Pro Shop Credit which will be good for any merchandise purchases at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex. The $450 entry fee per team includes the following:

  • Weekly payouts for the 1st & 2nd place teams
  • Regular season payouts for the top 3 teams in each division
  • Playoff payouts for 1st, 2nd, & T-3rd
  • Weekly Skins Games 

The weekly entry fee for non-members is $35 which includes greens fees and cart fees. Non-members may choose to walk as well for a weekly entry fee of $25. Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex Members play for free each week as part of their membership!

Birck Boilermaker Golf Leagues

Purdue Staff golf league

The Purdue Staff Golf League (PSGL) has been in existence since 1943 to provide a summer golf opportunity for Purdue Faculty & Staff, Retirees, Spouses, and Graduate Students. The PSGL plays every Monday evening on Ackerman-Allen starting in May and ending in August. Each year the league consists of 8–12 teams with 8–10 golfers per team.  For more information please visit the league’s website.

Physical Plant golf league

The PPGA, Physical Plant Golf League, is a golf league of individual competition for Faculty & Staff at Purdue. Handicaps are generated using your weekly scores and are used to determine points that are awarded each week. At the end of the season, trophies are awarded for most total points, lowest scoring average, best sportsmanship, and most putting points. Three tournaments are sponsored throughout the season, with food and fellowship following each tournament. League play is on Wednesdays, at either of the excellent Purdue golf courses. Men’s Tournament Club

The BBGC Men’s Tournament Club provides weekly opportunities to compete in low-pressure tournament golf.  There are over 20 dates of golf scheduled April through October, including multiple major tournaments. Men’s Club events are typically held on Saturday mornings on either the Ackerman-Allen or Kampen-Cosler Course.

Entry Fees

  • Weekly Events: $10 (paid day of event in the Pro Shop)

  • Major Events: $25

  • Club Championship: $40

Additional Fees

  • Greens fees and cart rentals are not included with Men’s Tournament Club fees.

  • Greens and cart fees are covered for BBGC members under their 2026 membership.

Prizes

  • All prizes will be awarded as shop credit.

  • Shop credit may be used toward merchandise at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex.

Registration for all weekend events will be through Golf Genius in 2026.  Players must register online by Thursday at 5:00pm prior to an event. Pairings for events will be sent out Friday afternoons.
